the PMP Course and exam
Project management continues to be one of the fastest growing career fields
in business today. This is the flagship program as the content is not just
about PMI requirements for certification, but mostly about practical processes,
tools and techniques for managing real life projects.

practitioners with a globally recognized designation that serves as the
foundation from which they can competently practice as Project Managers

Our principals, SIMLAU BIZTECH endeavors to ensure that delegates undergoing
the training are prepared enough for international exams by the time they
finish
the
course. This is made possible by our training methodology anchored on the
'Learning by Doing' philosophy. The 'Doing' part is concerned with real
life projects instaed of hypothetical projects that most training organizations
most often rely on.
We also facilitate and endorse the PMP certification registration process
for our delegates. It is worth noting that endorsement for registration
by a registered Project Management training provider is a strict requirement
for the PMI International exams.
Upon successful completion of our
program delegates obtain a diploma endorsed by
Project Management South Africa (PMSA).
At
Simlau Biztech our intention is to groom our students
as much as possiblewith
sufficient practicals skills and knowledge for
the achievement of our target result of 100 percent
in certification exams.
To this end:
1. We have allocated as much as twice
the normal time required by the standard setting
body (72 hours compared to 35hours)
2. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 12 students
3. We hold two 3 hour training sessions per week on two weekday evenings
from 18H00 to 21H00 for a period of 3 months.
4. Practicals are done during all sessions.
5. Exam Practice questions are done during all sessions.
6. Mock exams are administered before a candidate tales the international
exam.
7. Hundreds of Exam Practice questions are made available for self practice.
8. Each registered delegate is entitled to a Starter Pack which includes
the PMBOK 3rd edition at the start of the course.
9. Our trainers have multiple skill sets encompassing Engineering, Training,
General Management and Education.
10. All our trainers are involved with multiple real life projects from
complex organisations.
It goes without saying that in our
South African context, PMP is considered to be
at NQF level 6 (the same level as any first degree
qualification) by the South African Qualification
Authority (SAQA).
